20 a day smoker who gets themselves scrupulously clean before a meet when meeting non smokers.
Doesn't smoke on the meet but may vape.
Considers themself a non-smoker as that's what those they meet with will be privy to (plus it limits the number of people who will meet them of course)
What are they really? |

I'm like that. I know it stinks so normally get on best with those I meet in the smoking area at a club, feel guilty otherwise and of course it's normally pretty busy!

Smoking area is great to hang out in. Loads of random conversations. I've had guys say they'll meet smokers but in a club I smoke more, cos I usually have a couple of drinks. They've made comments after, still fucked me though!!!! X |

If you smoke there's no point hiding it. I'm always getting approached by those that say they won't meet smokers. I do remind them if i decide i want to meet them. I'm considerate like op to an extent but i wouldn't consider pretending to be a nonsmoker, honesty is far more important. |

Couldn't agree more. I've met, chatted to, made friends and had sexy liaisons with so many people from smoking area conversations. Nothing better than forcing a random group of people into a confined area! |

So what if they meet those who won't meet smokers and all went well. No suspicions raised. Everyone on the meet had a wonderful time, left smiling and satisfied.

Okay, how about from this point of view...
Man turns up and there's no sign of a wedding ring, but after a bit you notice the callus where the ring rubs. So does not wearing a wedding ring doesn't make you single? I don't think so.
If you're a smoker you're a smoker. That's your choice and I'd still be happy to meet you - might not kiss much, but still plenty of fun to be had.
Having said that was out with a girl last who smokes in her car. When I got home I had to shower and put all my clothes in the wash – she’s a friend and we had only gone for a drink, and other than a hug, no body contact whatsoever, but still felt I stank of smoke...

I feel like there's just a lot less pressure in the smoking areas too for some reason. Like I'm not being ogled to the point retinas are burning into me!

Smoker in denial be proud dont bow to the pressure of the bleeters 20 yrs ago almost everyone was a smoker 80 yrs ago it was good for you but thats a battle for another day smoking nazis have a lot to answer for and most of them are former smokers  |

Nailed on smoker.
Until I quit 3 years ago I didn't realise how noticeable the smell of a smoker is (doesn't bother me in the slightest and I will meet and have met smokers) but it did surprise me when I first quit how much I noticed it, when as a smoker I thought otherwise. |

What i dont get is if an alcoholic is always a alcoholic even when they stop drinking why isnt a former smoker still classed as a smoker i stopped 5 yrs before starting again |
