Most fashion advice given in the media is a load of rubbish. There was an article on layering in the Guardian yesterday that was basically saying wear a tee shirt under your blouse and put a cardigan on and claiming it would revolutionise your wardrobe. The accompanying photos made the woman look as if she'd got dressed in the dark in someone else's bedroom. |

I’m tired of children being lauded for trying to be old beyond their years.
Classic example is Britain’s Got Talent.
Kid dresses up like a pesky blinder and sings a bing crosby song despite having no idea who he is, is somehow considered cute and amazing. An adult who could sing the song far better will not get a look in. |

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think people should be required to retake their driving test yearly after 65 and every road user should be tested on the highway code every five years. There are road layouts and driving conditions that didn't exist when lots of road users passed their test |
