Honestly would never have been my first choice but was kinda bullied into it by a friend lol. I loved the flip i.e. the Supes are bad and the bad guys are goodies, but that final scene! What???

Karl Urban. Forgot his name thanks. Yeah he's fantastic and I really want him to kick Homelanders arse. As Billy would say..."cunt" but if Im honest I get why Becca cheated (if she did) but I still hate it lol. Great acting by everyone and who couldnt fall in love with Starlight.

Fucking LOVE this show, can't wait for season 2!
Side note: if it's wrong to be in love with Homelander, I don't want to be right |

"Reminds me of Marshal Law (graphic novel)
But maybe the thread could of started with a spoiler alert in the heading?
"
Collected all of "The Boys" and all of the comics of "Marshall Law". Thanks for connecting the dots. |

I don't know if the same writers, but the similarities are there.
Not knocking The Boy's, really liked it, (not read the graphic novels either, bet the price of them has gone up) but will wait to see how they do season 2.

"I've never heard of it "
Depends if you like violent sci/fi with a dark comic twist.
Amazon, so if you have prime, or know someone who does!
Don't think its worth a drive down to stockport to watch it me mind |

Dead Pool?
It's one of those, don't think it would of been made without Dead Pool doing so well.
What about Preacher? Watched that?

I did not take you as knocking The Boys, but as drawing a very clear similarity.
Different writers and artists Marshall Law is by Pat Mills and Kevin O'Neil and The Boys by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson but all are from the UK and the early 2000AD stable.
This is Wikipedia desctiption of Marshall Law spot the similarity to The Boys.
"The series is characterized by its extreme graphic violence and nudity, and Mills' skewering of superhero conventions and US government policy and society. "

Dont worry there is nothing sci fi about it.
Its about super heros but instead of them being awesome people they are actualy shitty people with one in particular an absoloute psycho.
Its a brilliant watch and definitely recommend it. |
