So I have my first proper Fab meet tomorrow. I already met this guy for coffee and can’t wait to meet him for more tomorrow but....
I’m so nervous, not about what we’ll do but basically about getting naked in front of him! I’m not fat but I’m not thin! Like you can definitely tell that I like chocolate. I would best describe myself as Chubbylicious. I’m just worried he’ll be disappointed, but he has met me already so he should have an idea?? Right? |

It makes me so sad to hear women who are so negative about their bodies. Many men love women who have a bit extra. You don't have to believe the bullshit that comes from the media that there is something wrong with you if you don't look a certain way.
I have been with women who are size 18 and above who are absolutely gorgeous and I would change a thing about them. I bet if I saw you I would fancy the pants off you.
This guy is very lucky. He would be a fucking idiot to meet you, get an opportunity to have sex with you and then decide he didn't like your body shape. Hopefully he we make it clear that he finds you amazingly sexy and will make you feel sexy too.
Would you be willing to let us know how you got on? I don't mean the details of what you did together, I mean whether your body was an issue for him or if your insecurities melted away in his arms?

The sheer number of thin women on media skews people’s perceptions of what they think sexy is, I think. I can assure you (and I bet many men will agree) that sexy ladies are curvy. If he didn’t fancy sex with you, he wouldn’t be meeting you. |

Honestly, men that find you attractive with your clothes on are only going to be more hot for you as the clothes come off!
When women look at themselves and others they tend to see the bits that aren’t perfect. When men look at themselves and others they tend to just notice the good bits.
A bit of a generalisation but it’s the way our brains work.

I can only echo what others have said.
I do understand how you feel . I can meet people several times and still have the same nerves. It's natural to feel nervous the first time but hopefully excited more.
I'd love to be able to buy confidence and share it with others but sadly it's not that easy. Hopefully though you'll soon be having so much fun and he will be making you feel good about yourself that it's not on your mind.

I am fat lol and I’m always nervous but everyone I have met has been very complimentary!! This has done amazing things for my confidence and people who have no idea I do this say I’m so much more confident and sexy. If only they knew

To be honest I’m not sure it is media etc. It’s how you feel about yourself. Id hate to be slim and I like my curves but I totally get where she’s coming from and I know it’s daft. Doesn’t matter how many people tell you you’re sexy or you look amazing it won’t change a thing if you don’t feel that about yourself. I was like that when I put weight on. I just wasn’t confident at all with people because I wasn’t happy. |

I'm with Sinders here... Even 3 years down the road, I sometimes feel a little bashful about Boo seeing me naked, particularly if we haven't seen each other in a while and I've put on a few pounds, yet he has never commented on my appearance (good or bad)... He might compliment something I'm wearing, but never my body or any of my physical features... But that's just his way... He loves me for me, not how I look. |

I lashed the fake tan on last night and I’ve a little sexy number from Ann Summers so hopefully it’ll distract from my wobbly bits

As a super sized lady myself, think you’ve done the hardest part by meeting in person already.
He won’t be expecting a size ten when your clothes come off!
Sadly society and the media has done a hatchet job on women where it has got us to believe that only one body type is attractive. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Embrace your sex appeal. Fake it till you feel it. Posh panties and lippy on, then go forth and have a glorious day.
