Trapped nerve

So long story short I have a trapped nerve in my lower back, I’ve tried numerous painkillers over the past 48 hours and nothing is working. Does anyone have any home remedies to relieve the pain!? I am in agony!

I treat neuropathy and either find someone who does or go to the doctor

"Go to the doctor! "

Yep doctors then most probably book you in for MRI scan to find the problem

stay mobile, it'll pass quicker.

Get on all fours and do some stretches, and a knobbly foam roller will help

Can you make a Chiropractor appointment? When my Sciatica flares up they are my saviours.

See the emergency doctor? They should at least be able to help with meds

I’ve got prescribed cocodamol and all sorts of girls and creams to use but nothin seems to be relieving any sort of ache or pain so I think my next step is to book an appointment with a chiropractor and hope for the best

Tell me about it! I’m frantically googling chiropractors that are open today and within walking (well hobbling) distance!

Dr’s just tend to tell you to keep mobile and take painkillers for a bad back. I’d go see a back specialist (Chiropractors) first as they can feel to see where the issue is, help manipulate your back and give you exercises to do at home to ease it.

Obviously see a Dr too, but don’t expect that to be able to do much.

Like others have said try to stay mobile, sitting or lying for long periods will make it worse, I find ice packs are a big help, local shop sells big bags of ice cubes I rap the bag in a towel and place on the offending area. Different things work for people hope you find what works for you.

Yeah I’m not expecting the doctors to do much if I’m honest just hopefully a little something to help ease the pain, just waiting until places open now so I can start trying to get an appointment with a chiropractor somewhere

They can give you way more than that for neuropathy if it's really bad
