No.. it shows people have an artistic streak.. it's not all about snapchat shite and blurring the lines about what you may look like.

Great idea but it wouldn't work on here at all. I mean look at half the porn starts cock pics that are passed the cartoons and the rest that are passed sorting out filtered pictures would be beyond the picture moderators it really would. |

I think you should be able to have a pic of whatever you like. The rules about them having a body part/finger in are silly imho.
Ppl with half a brain can work out a fake, and if you meet the person or video chat then it's kinda obvious by then so it's not like ppl are ever being tricked into having sex with anyone who's not who they think they are really? I don't like pics of dirty fat cocks oozing cum over stretch fannies, but I wouldn't want them banned, I just scroll on..... Personal choice is a beautiful thing |

We just pass them by. We like to know who we are potentially going to meet. If pictures have been artificially enhanced to hide imperfections we would rather not be disappointed when we meet. But if it makes the poster feel better about themselves then good luck to them. |

Oh is that what you mean? I do that. Change to black and white sometimes. I like black and white pics I wouldn’t want to see that banned. The ones where they change your face and smooth it out etc can go. |

Camera angles and cropping can enhance/ disguise. I did wonder if they'd enforce passport photo style rules next. |

I don't know what their rules are. I'm not tech savvy- 'filtered' could mean anything in my eyes. I'm just interested how people interpret it. And where they'd draw the line.
Magazine pics annoy me where they smooth/ chop/ slim etc.  |

I know on other sites women use photos of people that look a wee bit like them and like 1 real picture of them to try and fool people into thinking they are good looking  |

Nah. I mean I'm too lazy for filters but they shouldn't be banned. If someone meets someone who's every photo has animal ears on and is baffled when they don't have them in real life then that's their problem . |

I alter colour, depth, shadow all that stuff.
I never blur or distort, because its deceitful and may lead to someone getting a false impression of what I look like, lead to disappointment.
If anything.. what I do accentuates the wrinkles, not smooth them.
But it's still edited, still filtered photography.
To have that removed would irritate me no end. Fab and online dating are responsible for my new found love of photography. Not just a selfie addict. Sometimes I take a photo, just so I can edit and play with it.. make it look different, whilst still keeping true to how I look.
Pof is running out of steam I think. It's been falling behind Tinder and Bumble. So many fake profiles trying to link you to fake hook up sites. That's what they need to look into. |

I'm not sure if they should be banned, it wouldn't bother me if it was really, but I do remove a recognizable mark from most of my pictures, which would limit what I could post if that wasn't allowed. |

Thats a valid point I doubt admin would follow others here as its a different sort of site and know people need a level of anonymity. |
