To me -being truly bi sexual is being open to a relationship with either sex -that is it is not so much about the sex per se as the state of mind. Whereas Bi-curious would indicate that you are still exploring your attitudes towards tthis while the idea has appeal. |

That is the point. it is a misconception which many hold in ignorance and often in predudice. Many gay men do not have anal but are in a loving relationship. That was the point that taking one up the arse or not, does not determine if they are bi or gay |

I'd go a step further n say there's different levels of "bi"sexuality. There's those that would happily have a relationship with the same sex and have an emotional attachment to someone as well as a physical sexual attraction and there's those that can swing both ways n have sex with both men n women.
I think those that just want the sex side fit into the category of "bi"curious. Even within that I'd consider there are diff levels. Some men will have sex with other men in a group situation but not M-M only. I'm gay but am slightly "pussy curious" to a degree but def wouldn't consider myself "bi" at any level. |

I’ve thought about this recently. Whether to change my profile to bi curious. Even though I’ve had quite a few encounters with women it is and always will be purely a physical thing. Totally different to a man in every way. Not even comparable really. I could never have a relationship with a woman, whereas with a man I need that little bit more. Hard to explain really. |

This is the conundrum, Bi term is a bit of a 1 dimensional term - we prefer the term sexually liberated but no one puts it on as an option lol. Being in involved with the LBGT communities and others through various different routes, you see a very different picture than what is perceived by many.
With true Bi or Gay there has to be an attraction or an emotional level and not just physical as I alluded to in previous threads. Enjoy Bi side "physical and a little bit emotional or chemistry and think it is important to enjoy it fully", but we have a full and fulfilling relationship and (home fire burn brightly) that's where my real emotions and feelings lie. So because strait side you could say is the focus and centre of the relationship, but enjoy the bi side, am I straight or Bi) or just sexually liberated? |

If you're if interested in exploring same sex sex, then you're bi curious or could be pre gay.
Having sex with either sex more than once or twice would put you in firmly in the "no longer curious" catagory |
