Is it just me? I can’t understand why so many single men (and maybe single ladies, I don’t know) don’t smile in their photos.
I’d much rather see a happy face than a grimace or an attempt to look mysterious and brooding.
Which do you prefer? |

I always look like a twat if I smile in photos. Looks fake and weird. No idea why, self conscious perhaps.
Works OK if someone snaps me without me knowing. |

Same with ladies - love a beautiful smile! It’s the first thing to catch my eyes normally
But agreed with above - when forcing a smile I feel like a dixk. |

But maybe the grimace is their attempt at a happy face? Yes, I prefer smiles but I'd much rather people did expressions they felt comfortable with than an awkward hating every second of it pose. |

I’m really awkward with selfies too. I thought that was just me being old and boring!
Everyone else seems to be taking multiple selfies everywhere I go.
