I'm not into sport at all. I can understand enjoying playing it, but watching a bunch of people you have never and will never meet and you only a tenuous connection with and getting excited about it is a complete mystery to me. Luke |

Love rugby. Played it most of my life - used to play County level until I started studying & didn’t have the time of it anymore!
I just love being physical & on a rugby pitch it feels GOOOD! |

"Yay or neigh?
No love it, football is about highly paid foreigners diving to get a free kick or penalty, rugby is a mans game "
Yet it's still miles behind football.
No one ever gives the reason why to counter argue that.
Rugby is still in the shadow of football despite of the over paid, blah blah, diving etc etc woman's game that men play.
I don't think female rugby players would enjoy being told they are men when they play rugby, if that's what you mean
Sorry to add to any derail of your thread OP, just bored of that same ol shit.
There's nothing wrong in enjoying either or both sports. |

Football is all about two things, cheating and bullying.
Cheating - most of the fans I know are complaining about the introduction of the video ref, thier claim is it slows the game down when in reality it's because thier teams can't get away with cheating.
Bullying - look at the way footballers crowd the officials, intimidating them into changing a decision. Doesn't happen in rugby because the players respect the officials decision (usually backed up by video evidence) whether they like it or not. If a player(s) do behave like footballers then they're sin binned.
Football is only "ahead" of rugby because of the money involved, I hope rugby never gets to the stage football is at because it will ruin the game. |
