I think it will be be an England and New Zealand final.
I think Ireland will make it to the semis but no further, the same with Wales.

Going to be the usual suspects I think....
New Zealand.... Australia....South Africa ( getting strong again)
England best hope of the home nations
Ireland will give anyone a good game....but don't think they're quite as good as they have been over past couple of years
I saw Wales beat England in Cardiff in the warm up match, and though they won they weren't great.
Scotland..? Errr no
Either way.....can't wait
Some funny kick off times though! |

That's a shock!
I think at any RWC it's difficult to look past the all blacks, yes the northern hemisphere teams are looking very strong and will push them, I think NZ will take it home (again) |

Will be an interesting tournament. I think the ABs are the team to beat but Wales have a chance in one off games so could go far |

Semi will have England, NZ, South Africa and Ireland or Australia.
Something feels odd about the Irish team.
Winners probably (sadly) NZ
BUT!!
Super excited.

I hope Wales do really well. We're too small a nation to win it.
I hope the wheels fall off the chariot as I can't stand them.
I think the pumas will finish 3rd.
I think Ireland will be runners up.
NZ to win it. They usually do. |

I think its going to be a great tournament, but injuries will dictate how well teams progress. Ireland on a good day have got a shout but then so have England and Wales. You can never discount The Al-Blacks but South Africa are looking good though and if I was a betting man that's where my pennies would go.

Depends which England we get, if it's the England as they were when Eddie Jones first took over - attacking, creative, risk takers- then yes we will be in the final. But if it's current England - plodding, tired, playing safe - then we'd be out by the semis.
Winner, a Southern Hemisphere team, probably All Blacks or Australia. Northern Hemisphere play a slower game overall and never perform as well when in southern climes. |

It worked, so perhaps sing it.
I wonder if any other coach has thought about playing 'attacking' rugby? |

I’m now reasonably confident in our very own red rose boys, think they’ll go deep into the tournament.
Beware the French, love French rugby and they could be anything

I have had £100 on New Zealand at 11/8 and £110 on over 2550 points over the 48 matches been played that works out roughly 55 points per game which I believe with bonus points the group games will be high scoring affairs.Just a shame the time zones will make it tricky to catch a lot of the games |

As we always say in Scotland, hope it’s anyone but England that win it. Before you start caning me it’s nothing to do with the playing staff or fans but it’s all about the commentary that we then need to listen too. |

Good game this morning
Fijians look a lot bigger than Australia but their pack weight is less

Tight at the moment but Fiji wont last the whole 2nd half, ozil to win by 20pts I reckon"
Don’t think it will be too big a difference but think Australia will win.

Game turned round off that lineout where Fiji won the ball on their own 22, but then knocked on and gave an offside pen away.
1 mistake, game lost, just shows how you have to be on top of your game for the entire 80 against the top teams. |

Yes, as a neutral in this particular game, it's always good to see the underdogs causing a bit of chaos |
