I cheated on him even though we weren't together. A friend of his sent him a screenshot of my profile.

And yes I would be worried if they found out :/

That’s a shit thing to do. He may not. Could be just a threat. If you don’t want anyone to know maybe don’t mix the two. Nobody would ever even know who my mum was or the actual village I live in. Fab and real life don’t mix for me.

What a Sh*t, report him! I also believe it's against the law in the UK to send things about others without their permission.

Take screenshot of him and tell him you'll post them on his social media, or alternatively tell him you'll contact the police. He has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

"someone I was seeing ( even though we weren't a couple ) - see status - basically he's threatening to tell my parents that I'm on here "

I would remove that status and not give the person the satisfaction of knowing you’re bothered. Warn your parents that someone is trying to cause trouble and then if someone does tell them, say it’s a set up and fake

If you were not together it's not cheating?

I'm assuming he just wants you to himself? Is he in here? Does he meet other people?

Hopefully he is all mouth, however it is bl*ck mail which is a criminal offense.

1 hide your profile

2 put any photos to private

3 change the location on your profile

4 take advice from the police

5 dump the guy

6 go and see your mum, tell her a guy is causing you trouble and might tell her some stuff that isn't true.

In short take charge of the situation.

A guy our daughter was seeing kept telling her he was going to tell us what she was "really like" when she finished with him. We advised her to tell him to bring it on because it was unlikely she'd done anything worse than either of us.

How can you cheat on someone if you are not part of a couple and why say you cheated it makes no sense if you are not being honest.

Anyway contact the police though if he hasn't told your parents then they may not be interested its hard to say as I don't think we have all the real facts.

How would you best react if someone suggested you were paying men for sex on swingers site. And other similar names ?

I know we weren't together as a couple hence why I dont feel bad for being on here. My concern was about him telling my parents

Your profile does not give out your date of birth and address. It could be anyone. Deny it and make your profile blocked for a while

I would be mad as hell, and id tell him if he did spill to my parents I'd be right round at his, telling his girlfriend. But you can't do that because you've already told her. You've lost the only leverage you had.

It's a crime to show intimate images or videos, send them to another person, upload them to a website, or threaten to do this, without your consent. This includes so called 'revenge porn'.

If you do the same, you are just as guilty.

Report the person who sent the profile to Admin. And the police if you are confident enough.

O o O oo

There was more than one person who was saying out the man on social media...as normal only the male seems to be being pulled up on it

I say anyone who said out the man on social media can't then complain that he was saying he would do it to the OP...it is doing the same thing
