So iv not long come back from my first holiday abroad, we went to spain and iv got the travel bug.
So where have you been this year and where is next? |

Hello Lorna. We went to our favourite island, Corfu. Have been going to the same place for 15 years and have already booked for next year. The Greek islands are beautiful and scenic. We may get a sneaky holiday soon in Gran Canaria, when things settle down here.Glad you enjoyed your holiday  |

Not been anywhere this year but if you're after recommendations I'd suggest Paphos, Cyprus - great resort, some excellent restaurants, very family/couples friendly, lovely beaches and much more - really can't sing its praises enough |

i went to Sorrento/Amalfi coast in August
looking for somewhere after Christmas but can't go where I want .... Venice. looked into Malta and Canary Islands but neither appeal

I went to Abu Dhabi a few months ago but that was visiting family friends rather than a holiday holiday. Other than that I haven't been abroad for a couple of years because I'm poor. The last place was 25 minutes outside of Marrakech in a hotel in the dessert and it was amazing. We did trips up into the Atlas mountains which was amazing. The next place is likely to be Greece for a family wedding. Personally I really want to go to Vietnam but I think it will be a while away. |

I love Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Had a great time while I was working there. Shame I had to come back home.
Vietnam and Cambodia are on my list of places to go, but I’m short on travel companions haha.  |

We're about to go to Germany for a few days to see rellies. We also have Florida booked for January.
If you have the travel bug I would highly recommend going to Florence in Italy. It took my breath away. |

I'm not really a fan of UAE to be honest but I enjoyed going to visit the family friends. I also love Lebanese food which is amazing out there. |

Far too many to list.... did a 3 week motorbike trip around Europe taking in 11 countries. Stayed with a mate in Abu Dhabi. Sunny Spain for a fun holiday and miserable Munich for work. |

We spent 3 weeks travelling to Istanbul, Beirut, Israel and Jordan back in February. We are off to Singapore, Bali and Kuala Lumpur next month.
We have never been that way before so really looking forward to it. |

This year so far, abroad.
Bilbao city break
Tenerife for Easter and exploring the lava tubes
Snowboarding in France
Cycling in France, riding the tour of Flanders and visiting the battlefields
Mountain biking in France and Switzerland
Cycle tour of Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine (inc. Chernobyl), Moldova, Transnistria.
Off to Berlin tomorrow.
Holidays are important.

Oh, we definitely have the travel bug! Just our appetite is bigger than our budget!
This year, a mix of places, for work and pleasure, but a quiet year compared to usual.
the Hague (twice), Orlando, Rome, Vienna, Croatia, Stockholm, Cyprus, Switzerland to name a few. Roll on the next one! (Probably back to Washington and/or Boston). |

Was in Paris a couple of weeks ago and went to Prague in May. Amsterdam for 4 days next month
Not sure where after that, possibly heading back to Morocco as I do fancy some decent trekking but also want some sun! |
