Auto thanks but not thanks delete button
Jump to: Newest in thread
I can sympathise with women having 100s of emails to delete There's a shame fab does not have a no thanks button, that deltes and auto says no thanks message but does not use up the message limits, may even be a benefit in that email having an optional blocking any further emails from the sender, ie if the sender keeps posting, that can be used to highlight the block who don't respect no is no, who knows maybe could be used to negatively score members who pester. Ie I like to chat to anyone on here, but I'm not gay, but same guys seem to think because I have not block there preferences I'm closest gay, I'm not. But by the same token I don't block because I'm not homophobic either |

What is the benefit of a “No thanks” message though?
A message being deleted is quite a good indicator that someone isn’t interested.
Besides, an auto reply wouldn’t stop people moaning, they’d just say something else like “Why can’t people send a written message instead of an auto reply, it’s lazy” etc. |

Blocking single guys from messaging you by using message filters isn't being homophobic
I know some people like to know for sure that it's a definitive no but I think it's probably safe to assume that absence of any sort of response even if the message has been read and not deleted, deleted or left unread, means that it's a no anyway. |

What would be the point in this button?
Clearly on FAQ it says:
There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!
It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?
If a guy can't read the FAQ or gets hung up over a no reply... maybe they shouldn't be on here. |

Or they could keep Fab as it is, since it seems to work perfectly well for most of us! |

Something I found funny even though a bit off topic....
I clicked a profile to reply from the forums and was greeted by the this user has blocked you....I've never even spoke to them...so that kind of baffled me as to why they would block me even if we've never interacted before!!! Hahaha |
