I have also been watching Mindhunter on Netflix and its based on how they put together a team and how they profiled serial killers... it was briefly mentioned on part 4 of the series.. bloody brilliant...it apparently was a serial killer called Ed Kemper who said that not all serial killers will be from bad backgrounds, abusive life styles etc...
