I tablespoon of coffee
1/6 or 1/8th cold water
Fill up with (part) boiled water.
Stir, settle for a minute
down it in 2 man sized gulps.
That smell in coffee shops is burnt coffee beans.
I don't know anyone can drink it that hot let alone pay £5 for it |

I have to drink decaffeinated nowadays but I've found a supplier in Amazon who make very acceptable pods for our machine. When we're out we use independent coffee shops with varying results .
If I have a cup of caffeinated it has to be very strong, very hot with a dash of hot milk but not instant |

So many variations. I have 2 Nespresso machines so I get a good variety. This morning I have had a Nespresso vertuo plus Bianco Forte with cold milk and 1 sweetener.
Later I will probably have a arpeggio as a espresso or a latte |

Depends on my mood. I have a Dolci Gusto at home. Do like to go to little independant coffee shops. Flat white with one sweetener, sometimes Americano, very rarely a lattè. But never instant |

"Nescafe original, two teaspoons of the stuff, no sugar, milk in before hot water.
Deffo milk in first "
We have something in common.
Not a lot but it's a start |

Always black with a bit of sugar, at work usually via an aeropress and at home either via an espresso machine or a mocha pot.
One of my specialities is espresso martinis where I brew the espresso with vodka |

It's instant granules.
I put it in a cup ( not mug ). I fill the cup four fifths or five sixths but never ten tenths....... with off the boil water.
I leave the cup for ten mins or so.
The tricky bit is lifting the cup and making slurping noises while I suck it up for the first few sucks. Five mins later neck half the cup. Two mins later gob the lot...
ubiquitous Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The and..... |

I have a virgin pure that costs around £20 a month after insulation (£40) and it does chilled and boiled filtered water. we love it as we would only drink bottled water prior to getting it and we no longer need a kettle |

I'm not one for mucking about with my coffee, adding lots of milk - lattes or capps - or syrups etc.
Just let me at the flavour with a good filter or pressed coffee,
And let the coffee speak for itself |

Espresso made using home roasted green beans on a fluidised bed system, hand ground and then pressed using a Leverpresso manual 6-9 bar press. Then possibly the travisty as the final coffee is usually made up to a full mug with hot water and milk. |

Bean to cup machine at home makes a lush coffee. Bit disappointed that the coffee hopper hasn't had a great deal of thought with respect to darkness and airtight sealing.
Beans are bought in small batches (to preserve freshness as much as possible) from local artisan roasters cos it's nice to have variety. Any recommendations gladly received btw!
At work we run a team filter that's always going with some fresh ground beans from a local roasters.
And whoever said earlier that the smell from posh little coffee shops was burnt beans while extolling the virtues of instant needs a reality check!

Very strong colombian, put through a cafetiere with a good pinch of cinnamon.
Poor into a pre heated mug, add jersey gold top milk and brown sugar to taste. If feeling naughty put a shot of rum in there.
Then throw the filthy muck straight down the sink.
Coffee is satans diarrhea. |

Was sounding tasty with the cinnamon..until you added the milk & sugar.
Agree that the best place for it is down the drain. |

Has to be a latte made with medium roast espresso.... with a good measure of double cream and brown sugar. I just can't drink costa starbucks nero lattes as i find them far too bitter. Plus there's no double cream!

Mainly instant. Black for quite a few years, have recently stopped adding sugar. Surprised how easily I gave up sugar.
If I am out MacDonalds, Morrisons or M&S. McD's coffee is excellent, can't say that for what they pass off as food !! |

"Instant, one heaped spoonful, then milk then water.
Strange order...."
How is that strange? You always add the milk before the water so as not to burn the coffee. |

Not a fan of "fussy" coffee, so instant does me fine - Alta Rica is my favourite. I always warm the milk up and constantly rewarm it in the microwave because I forget I made it, or forget where I put it down. The other week I had a billion things on my mind and was staring at the carton of milk on desk wondering why the hell it was there. I retrieved my coffee from the fridge and put the milk back. |

One and a half-to-two spoons of coffee, two sugars, milk, and hot water. Mix until a smooth, dark caramel shade appears. Drink while warm for necessary energy to make it through until at least ten o'clock. Repeat as necessary until end of the day. |

Don't care if its ground or instant, as long as it's strong.
Preferably white, but black is ok.
Half a tsp of sugar, or one sweetener, please. But, naked is OK.
With a cigarette chaser, please. TYVM. |

At home I'll have a cafeterie made with Aldis Ethiopian blend ~ very nice if you haven't tried it.
If I'm in Starbucks or wherever I'll have a flat white.
No flavours or sugar.
No instant ever, not even when I'm desperate!! |
