I always say I'm totally not superstitious, but then hate Friday the 13th.
...And don't walk under ladders.
...Don't stand on cracks.
...Always salute magpies.
...Don't split poles.
...Don't move house at weekends.
...Always have a dark haired person first foot me at new year.
...Won't buy my own purses, and always put money in any I buy for other people.
And many more! I think I might be a teeny bit superstitious after all! |

Friday 13th doesn't generally bother me. However Im working on my own today and I don't expect its going to be rosy.
I am superstitious though I won't walk over 3 pavement squares under street signs, under ladders etc |

"Luck is what you makes it...saying that... I've left my lunch at home as and nearly had a car crash already "
Both things that happen all the time to people on any other day.
I'm not superstitious in the slightest btw |

No superstitions really but grew up with the “bad things happen in threes” belief. So when 2 things go wrong I find myself looking for the third and waiting. - Mrs |

No. I am not superstitious at all.
It's one of those things that people bring on themselves. If they believe they lost their job because they walked under a ladder then fuck me ...... they were unemployable in the first place. |

Agree. It’s up there with starsigns, karma, fortune tellers and the rest of all that bollocks. |

""Don't split poles"
What is this ?"
When you're walking with someone, it's bad luck to split to walk round opposite sides of a pole or other obstacle. No idea why!
I don't actually believe any of it brings back luck, it's just things I do instinctively or through bad habit. |

Does that include people? Could explain why they walk through a middle of a group rather around |

Ha I imagine that's just plain rudeness over any superstition |
