Just like pictures and smells I find that noises can bring back memories for me.
I was thinking about the noise of knitting needles and how the click click sound reminds me of cosy nights on the sofa watching TV with my granny.
What noises bring up memories for you? |

"I find certain songs bring back feelings of where I was the first time I heard them, it's always nice when one pops up on a radio or jukebox "
Oh definitely. Sometimes the way I felt at a particular time, too. |

"The noise of a pebble beach, reminds me of being on holidays with my dad as a kid! "
One of my favourite sounds is that mixed babble, kids screaming, waves breaking etc. as you walk down the path to the beach.
Every childhood holiday. |

Fire station siren.
The ford anglia police car bell.
The sound of the rag and bone man's horses.
Steam roller.
Steam train shunting and whistle.
Mrs Windless shouting out her 2 son's name's, to come home for dinner. My god did she have a mouth on her.

The distinctive blaster (gun) noise from Star Wars. The TARDIS taking off. The buzzer from the game Operation. The way that kid says "zactly" on the milk advert feat Ian Rush.
