Ive travelled/worked all over the world i can definitely say british women are easily/most offended. Why? I dont know? maybe because british are strong willed/headed and like to make a point. I find british women more argumentative than others over the world, Australians a close second (argumentative wise)

So, on offence.

I come on here, and yes, I was for awhile quite shocked and horrified by the way people thought it was appropriate to speak to me. That was a long time ago now. These days it's little more than "oh another spam message, need to tidy my inbox" while I get on meeting amazing people and having incredible sex. Maybe a bit sad that people think it's appropriate to treat other people like this, if I let myself dwell. Not offended.

On the other side, the outrage that I enjoy myself on my terms, unapologetically, without giving every person who pops up exactly what they desire (no matter how little I want it)... Can be fairly monumental.

I get offended responses, one word responses and waste of time responses.

I think offended is probably the least likely but all 3 responses areare equally split across

Men, Women and Couples.

If in general your getting a lot of offended people it probably isn’t them it’s you.....

I think in essence you're right op, though I would say it's a general issue, NOT a gender issue.

People get so worked up about differing opinions rather than embracing them, the way a question has been asked rather than the intent, and yes a lot of whingeing rather than adjusting their actions to avoid their frustrations.

I think you "genuinely reckon" wrong on all you've said there to be honest - there have been plenty of posts of the kind you describe and they usually run to a lot more posts than that and invariably get a lot more heated (and that's the experience of 3 years here talking not just 8 weeks).

Just take a look for any thread titled "Why can't I get a meet?" or "Why does no-one reply" or similar for examples of guys that moan and get offended - by your "argument" it could also be suggested that you're offended that very few people on this thread agree with you too - none of those are the sweeping generalisations that you appear to be making nor have I suggested *all* men are like it, which you appear to be trying to do about women with your OP.

As I said further up, I agree that *some* people (regardless of gender) do seem to have a propensity to moan and take offence and in the case of *some* of those on here you have to ask which came first the moaning or the offensive men that gave rise to the moaning?

I honestly couldn't care less what anyone (again regardless of gender) thinks of me for expressing my opinion on any number of topics and actually find it quite insulting to my intelligence when it's suggested that by expressing that opinion it's as a means to an end.
