A guy told me recently that in the army a lot of the soldiers wear stockings under their uniforms to keep them warm, I think he was winding me up as why would they not just wear long jons, but it has left an interesting thought in my mind!

I don't wear either - the hairs on my legs poke through the mesh.

It's true. When I was in the TA, many years ago, if we were on a winter field exercise some of the blokes wore tights.

Stockings preferred, but will wear Hold Ups if the skirt is a little tight.... no suspenders bumps.
