Picky has negative connotations. It's almost always used to describe undesirable behaviour... children being called picky eaters is one such example. |

It's not, we are very picky about who we meet and we want them to be the same. You want to know you are meeting the right person and that it will actually be fun and why should you just settle if the person/s are not your cup of tea. |

I think it's because to some people they are on here just to stick their willy in any hole and expect to be able to do that. When you say no, its obviously your fault and they will let you know. Just helps to reassure you that your instincts were correct.
Dodging bullets springs to mind.
