Dunno whats happening but im seeing less and less people with the ability to lead others be it politics be it on tv be it sport joe root =fail

Corbin =fail

Boris= looking like a fail too much of a joker in the past to be taken seriously

Harry kane = just a goal scorer not a real leader of the team

Owen farrel= not his dad shares responsibility

Just a few examples there

Its just shocking and really sad

You do not have to be a politician to be a leader.

And I agree with you, OP. Not many about these days.

Agree your right in some parts but the op was talking about leaders, not just politicians

There are still people who lead, they just don’t take the political or sporting pulpit to lead from..

Many British business men are good leaders

AKA Alan Sugar & Richard Branson

How many dominant males in here are there?

I’m a domme TV and there are dominant women, most of them would be a good leader of people..

It’s rare, but I completely agree with you op.

Itoji should be the red rose skipper.

As for all your other examples I just think that the country in general is a soft touch.

People pleasers everywhere and strong minds seem to be hounded out of power positions for fear of reprisals.

There is another reason for lack of leadership in our country, other places I’ll name a few

China, USA, Argentina, Russia.

The people are proud to be who they are!!

In this country you can’t even put a flag up without someone complaining racism..

USA and China swear obedience to the flag every day...

We just lost our identity

Your not allowed to talk in a certain manner to your minions in a manner that is deemed as bullying.

Being a class motivator is now far more important than being a leader

I dont think of myself as British because..

a) I've lived in other countries longer than this one.

b) I dont need national identity, I have personal identity.

c) Patrotism is just Nationalism, which I'm not a fan of. It stokes conflict and feelings of pride in things we've had no personal hand in. Most national achievements come at the expense of another group of people.

China and the US are shining examples of the above.

America achieved world dominance by dragging its feet in WW1, selling arms and resources to both sides during most of the conflict.

China isn't exactly known for its humanitarian ways towards it's own people or other countries.
