I have seen a recipe for jackfruit. Has anyone tasted it and how would you describe it ?

I've had it before. It's kind of like shredded meat but less chewy. It basically takes up the flavour of whatever sauce it is in.

Its awesome. I use it mostly in chilli but tried it in stir frys which also works. Had a nice jackfruit burrito yesterday at some Mexican chain restaurant.

I've used Jack Fruit for a couple of years to do pulled meat type dishes.

Just make sure you let it sit a while in a GOOD sauce....

It's a great product for non meat eaters but it's the sauce and the cooking that makes it tasty...

It's just a bland fruit else.
