I've got a 30" waist but I'm certainly not athletic. I put myself as average although these days average would probably be overweight. My profile does state I have developed a bit of a mummy tummy and in a tight dress I do look slightly pregnant if I choose an outfit that doesn't disguise it. |

I dont think it matters which one you pick to be honest.
I rarely read descriptions on height and build, as long as there are some good pics of full body, you know what your getting
Xx
P.s great pics |

I think the moral of this thread is call yourself whatever you are most comfortable with. You are justified in any of those choices. They mean different things to different people. Don't over-think it. |

"Athletic =muscle tone
Slim = skinny, less fat or muscle
Average = fit but with a little layer of fat.
Pretty much sums it up I’d say "
To me though, average would be "a bit overweight" as most people are. Seeing as I am now buying the smallest waist that NEXT appear to sell, and friends say a 30" waist is unhealthy, I think I'm definitely below / better than the statistical average..? |

"Same... I'm not athletic but hopefully not skinny either...comments welcome...judt be kind!"
I feel you're inbetween slim and athletic, definitely leaning more towards athletic from what I can see. You're not average in my opinion. |

"I say athletic too. I have athletic on my profile as well.
Yes but you're exactly why I'm tentative about saying I'm also athletic.
Totes jelly. "
I say I'm athletic. I've got fat to lose. I'm still well above average in a way that's obvious looking at my body. |

I’d say average. As long as people can see pics they can decide. Pick what you feel comfortably describes yourself. I wasn’t sure how to describe me, but then decided people would decide anyway. Don’t worry. - Mrs |

I never quite know if to put slim or athletic as a description of me. While I don’t weight train so I’m not muscley in my upper body, I do run up to 70 miles a week, so my lower half is toned especially my lower leg especially. |

Explains the amount of single male "couples" profiles then.
Can I get a single female profile? |

It’s interesting on the athletic bit. I’d say I’m fit for my age, I’m running 10k in sub 48 minutes at the age of 51, physically I’d say I’m very average.
Us chaps really don’t know how to measure are waists either do we. I’m in 32 inch jeans but there’s definitely an inch or maybe more spare above my belt. |

I have a 30" wait so I list myself as slim. However I always think that suggests skinny. I know I'm not skinny and am in good shape, with decent muscles and a solid core, but I don't choose athletic because I think it implies I'm rocking an obvious six pack! |

"Is this about the male or female of the profile There's still only one person in the photo."
That didn't really answer the question. You have 5 pictures on your profile. 3 of the female half, 1 of the male and 1 of you together. |
