What did you collect as a child or currently
I'm big into my northern soul records now and as a child I loved collecting subbuteo teams.
Curly wurly for the most unusual so it could be tea towels, book marks etc |

I got my Collector's badge in Brownies for collecting napkins. This was when establishments used to print their name/logo on them, it wasn't a scrapbook of 75 white ones
It was my mum's idea. Who collects effing napkins?! |

I collected rare coins. When I left school and moved away from home, my collection was stored away till I worked out what to do with it all.
That was the plan! But Mum gave it to a dealer in Edinburgh for a few quid. It actually was worth over £600!!!!
Gutted! |

As a child I collected post cards stamps and marbles.
Now I’ve lost my marbles lol
I don’t go anywhere to collect postcards
And my stamp collection is non excitant because no one sends letters any more

Have to admit collecting has been a bit of a thing for me. Started with
keys rings,
Pencil rubbers
As I grew up things I collected got bigger and more expensive.
Antique swords and knives
1/18th scale model cars
Phone cards.
Whisky related items
Latest collections are old coins and silver modern coins and finally fossils.
The daughters already argue over who’s getting what when I’m dead and buried lol |
