There and to the left a bit

I love accents - find them fascinating especially when you add in the different linguistics of them and local phrases and sayings etc

The only accent I truly hate is my own, which I know everyone says when they hear their recorded voice, but mine sounds monotone and boring and not at all like I think I sound in my head.

There’s a lot of different places that have that twang, or drawl. It may be southern US accents in general that grate on you. Some are very strong. Some places of Texas sound southern and some don’t. There are so many accents there. I don’t have a drawl lol

I like all accents as long as I can understand what they are saying. I remember being in a cab once in Dublin and the cabby was chatting to me and I still to this day don't know what he said . I just kept nodding and smiling

Mrs is from over the other side of the Mersey, Posh Scouser, more twang in her knickers than her accent

"Birmingham accent got to be the worse "

I'm with you on this one!

Generally, most accents are agreeable if spoken in a lovely voice. The timbre is everything.

There we go Jizzy...no one else said Stokes' accent! So I must be right! Ha ha

At least your not a Scouse according to the general response on here!!!!!

....point taken.....

.....they probably haven't heard it though....

Heard it. Not bothered. Some scouse accents make me cringe. There are varied accents all over the country and varied ones in liverpool too. Scally scouse is the cringey one x

Worse is Wirral trying to be Scouse!!

Sheee ya shooon takkkkkee ccccare!

See you soon take care!! "

Plastic scousers.. They can be found right down the north wales coast yet never been near liverpool.
