In this episode of adventures in sensitive skin (mine)...
I had an episode recently with a bad skin reaction, which involved many experiments to find and eliminate the irritant. One such failed experiment has left me with more ingrown hair and spots than I've had for a long time. They're driving me insane. Hopefully it's temporary but it's still terrible.
Please share your ingrown hair tips and/or exfoliation tips please. Bonus points if it's super gentle and won't leave me with a hideous rash. |

I use an enzyme exfoliation method, as well as a physical one. Whilst I won't use clothes detergents with enzymes, dun to. Sensitive skin, i have good results from natural ones applied straight to me skin |

Use a gentle sugar scrub - Champneys does a detox sea and sea salt one that I use often. It's really gentle even when my skin is a bit delicate. Apply the Child Farm's moisturiser after air drying (if poss). It doesn't irritate my skin and helps my rare eczema flare ups. Patch test it first though. Or there's the Aveeno oatmeal one which is lovely. |
