Look, this isn’t me asking people to say “oh you’re young” haha.
Earlier today, I heard Some kids talking about movies. One of the younger ones said “What’s a DVD?”
Well it was at that point I realised that I had finished school over 10 years ago and it feels like for ever hah.

Do you find age quite a big thing when it comes to talking and meeting people on here? |

Oh goodness don’t!
We are of similar age and this also makes me feel old! Ugh!
I heard a song the other day and it was a dance remix of an older garage song, my 13 year old niece was singing along, so was I and she asked me “Auntie how do you know this song” made me feel old & I had to let her know the actual song is a remake and was out before she was born!
Does this mean we are officially at that stage in our 20s?!!!! |

I recently asked my nephew to tape the football for me as I was going out later. He came back in the room a few minutes later with a roll of celotape and a football and asked why does it need taping if it hasn't been popped!

I was ok yesterday when I turned 51! Now you lot have made me all depressed! Wish we still had VHS/Betamax! Those arguments we had because someone recorded over something you wanted to save!!! Can you imagine, you’d have to have a ban on “spoilers” for over a decade incase someone had the item recorded on video!!!! |

I went to my school 30yr reunion.
I stood looking round, wondering if teachers had been invited too?
Some of my class mates haven't aged well
Do I feel old?
No. I run rings round the 20 somethings at work |

Just throw a random load of numbers out in your life or sex life and see where you land lol
I'm 40
My on off gf is 29
The girl that stays with us is 20
The woman I meet off here us 51
I think that makes my mental age ether 25 or if I add it all together 140 lol
Who gives a f about age if you don't feel your age or act it lol

I left school at 18, 46 years ago.
We didn't have computers then, nor Mobile Phones. Calculators were just about to emerge into shops.
Supermarkets (such as they were) were open 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Saturday. |

It's when you hear people say what's a tape deck lol
How about:
Ghetto blaster
Walkman
VHS and having to clean the heads and adjust tracking.
What about having to go to video stores like blockbusters and spend a tenner (more like 20 now) for some popcorn, and borrow a film for a few days before taking it all the way back again.
How about PC monitors that took up half your desk and having to put covers over the screen to block radiation.

Oh yeah. Had one that looked like a portable TV, sadly it died. However a couple of years ago we started converting all the family photo slides to digital. It takes forever |

And the youngsters will be wondering what we did for fun and entertainment back in the day.
We used to write love letters to each other and post them in the mail box we didn't actually need computers, and we had telephone boxes which was handy enough if your friends actually had a telephone in there house.
At the weekends we'd go to pubs grab a girl and have sex in the back of cars.
Or go to the village fete and get d*unk on Pimms and cop off with the vicar daughter.
Or go to the fairground when it was in town and pair up with the lovely French exchange students for an evening of fumbling with each other on the beach in the moonlight.
If we were really bored we'd annoy the local Bobby and get chased all round the village for half an hour.
Or we'd go along to the local girls boarding school under cover of darkness and try and entice some sixth formers out for a bit of fun.
Yep, we didn't need no computers or smart phones to get close to someone back then.
I'd be arrested if I tried any of that stuff now though |

And the probably long forgotten sport of elbow-titting, inspired by the classic movie The Wanderers.
I once stood in a doorway in a nightclub, between bar and dance floor with pint in one hand, and enjoyed probably 50 young ladies squeeze past me having to rub their boobs across my elbow to get through. Only one took the obvious option of passing through with her back to me. Not one asked me to move out of her way.
Cheap thrills for a young buck back in the day.
