I won't be watching either as I will not be at home, but I do like BGT. I almost have to watch from behind a cushion at some of the excruciatingly embarrassing acts.
Though I did toy with the idea of auditioning with my 'how fast I can put fake eyelashes on' act which in my opinion is worthy for the Queens entertainment.
I wonder what the Queen really thinks of these acts.  |

Id rather watch paint dry than either of these. Cheap crap 'entertainment' who's premise is that the public are just entertaining themselves.
Time was the TV license fee bought original programming with plot, story and production values. These days all you seem to get are shows of mediocre intelligence featuring Joe public entertaining themselves. Opiate of the masses indeed. |
