God no, never with fish.
Not sure about with beef, but fowl, lamb, pork are all good.
Like mine crisp, loads of gravy soaked in it, with some cranberry sauce as well.

Crispy out and softish middle, with chicken or pork for me. To be honest I’m not fussed if I have other things to focus on, yorkies, roasties, gravy and veg with the meat more than stuffing. I could eat a plate of all the other stuff on their own but not stuffing |
