It's very sad. The storm surge will be 18 to 23 feet and Dorian is over 300 miles wide.
Even though the forecast doesn't show landfall, C1 or C2 winds will damage homes. 136 mph wind lifted my roof during Irene. I'm evacuating at 19:00. |

one of my work colleagues is suppose to be going out on holiday to nassau next week... miraculously BA are still flying in and out...
i suppose i am a nerd in that i follow the weather channel closely... this hurricane has been crawling at 1mph for the last 6 hrs... and as of the latest 5pm advisory 20 minutes ago.. hurricane is a big cat 4...but is now officially stationary....
