Smokers who won`t meet smokers.

This confuses me, I often see profiles where they smoke, But don`t want to meet smokers. So far I have two theories- 1/ They are trying to give up. 2/ They don`t want to share their cigarettes.

Can anyone solve this puzzle?

I've never seen this. I've seen a lot of people who won't meet smokers but message smokers anyway though.

Maybe they ticked the wrong box.

Maybe they're vaping instead.

I'd personally class vaping as smoking if I really think about it, especially if there's nicotine content in the liquid.
