Liam v Noel

All my messages are about Oasis just now because I pointed out Definitely Maybe was 25 years old yesterday !

Got me thinking who's your favourite? Are you team Noel or team Liam?

Was always Noel for me, I thought he was really witty and cool. He just keeps going down in my estimation now though, while Liam gets pretty funny! The whole Lewis Capaldi thing kinda sealed it for me that Noel's really just a bit of a dick!

I personally don't like either

Got to admit that the Lewis Capaldi 'beef'was great. Even if it was all a gimmick

I think Liam just oozes cool and some of his comments are hilarious. As much as I like Noel as a singer/songwriter, telling the world he thought my country was a " third world country " made me just think, dickhead. So it Liam all the way for me.

Do you think it was? I thought it was pretty genuine! He tried to be his usual arrogant self and Lewis completely got the better of him! It really was funny. If only Lewis had some decent music I'd love him as his chat is hilarious!

Liam for me, his new music is class and he’s seems much funnier than Noel who seems to be keen to start beef with anyone

I like some of the music.

But they put me the mind of two little spoilt brats that need tuning up.

Yeah I think that comment influenced me too! Liam's tweeted video afterwards was really funny. I still think he's thick as two short planks but he cracks me up sometimes.

Leeds

Loved Oasis back in the day but when a band splits I rarely get into solo projects. Since then both have been good for comedy value but of late Noel seems to have his head up his ass somewhat!

I thought it was genuine to start with. But then saw that it was a gimmick, so still not sure.

I follow Lewis on social media. He cracks me up every time

I remember watching Glastonbury on the telly as well and at one point they were filming Liam on his way to the gig, chatting to these lads who didnt have tickets. He took all there names and told them he'd get them on the guest list. I just thought, top bloke

"Arrogant nobody's who had some good music "

To be fair I still think they had some great music! They're the sound of my generation! Liam I think is actually alright, but I have the same love/hate thing with Noel as I do Morrissey - love the music, could punch the man.

Worthing

Shame they could have not put away their childish tantrums. They were on the verge of making it big in the States. I like their earlier few albums.

I was and still am a Damon fan.

I completely ignored the oasis thing until quite some years later.

I can appreciate some of their stuff, Acquiesce is probably my favourite.

If I had to choose between the two I’d say Liam, just because of his total unwavering self belief.

Can’t stand either of them tbh. They should be shot with balls of their own shite!

Never understood the hype...

Liam was fantastic in his prime, now they're both just a squabbling pair of old men, not attractive

You have to admit Damon is dull as dishwater though personality-wise!

Swindon / London

When they split I always thought that's it for Liam, he's completely fucked it and Noel is going to continue on. But I wasn't a big fan of Noel's album and then Liam made Beady Eye and was actually quite surprised because I thought it was better. Then Liam said he was going solo, well that's definitely the end to him now. Hmm you know what, although I don't like all his solo stuff I actually think he's done pretty well on his own and is now competing with Noel.

When you look at the last year's of Oasis, Liams performance, arrogance and alcoholism (clearly he is) then compare it to how he is today, for him as a person splitting from Oasis was probably the best thing he could have done. He has changed a lot, his attitude, his performances, his drinking, and clearly making a big effort to turn his life around

Both boneheaded druggy chavs. But Liam is the worst by far.

I wondered if it was some Marketing ploy. Great publicity for Lewis but terrible for the Oasis bloke. Didn't even his own daughter say he's a knob for harassing Lewis.

Hillside desolate

Young Liam was a force of nature, a beautiful vision of a man, with a raw unharnessed talent and the attitude needed to be a star. Noel's always just been kind of... meh.

Dont like noel and dont like liam as people... I do however like oasis..

I think without the band they are both irrelevant to the industry. I dont like any of the music they have both done since splitting up. And it's only a matter of time before they get back together for a massive money making sell out tour.

And was only one winner with him slagging off capaldi and it wasnt noel.
