If they have invited you then then at the very least you would expect is to split the bill.
You wouldn’t invite someone over to your home for dinner and expect them to bring the food |

I only had money on me for my bills... which i had to use. We arent talking loads of money... but I was more than a little embarrassed when argued with about whose paying at the end.

I don't think anyone would be expecting to pay for lunch is some is treating you. You be prepared for the possibility of 50/50 split but it's fair to asume if you being treated is being paid for you. |
