Every squirrel is on a dare, if you look around you will see his mates up a tree egging him on, little rascals.

Hiding in the shadows

They sit on the neighbours fence here, just the other side of mine

They twitch their bushy little tails, taunting my stupid dog who only realises she can't climb fences when she's halfway up!

Vermin! They strip my Hazelnut trees bare the bastards. And did you know? They lose 95% of the nuts they bury.

Cull them now.

I've been training an attack squirrel since a flock of gulls took up residence and keep going for me when i go to the shop. Started off with a pigeon but kept trying to stare at its own reflection in the pavement.

Yeah, they worked as a pair. One distracted me, while the other ran though my legs then doubled back and climbed up the back of my leg. It really made me jump.

They are sneaky!

We don't have squirrels back home but we do have chipmunks and they're just as cheeky. If any of the cats loses a collar we always reckon they've sold it for far less than it's worth to a dodgy chipmunk. You see them all the time on street corners, flipping a coin with a matchstick in their mouths offering tourists "locally made jewellery". Squirrels sound equally devious.
