Hi, does anyone here do wild camping or covert camping ?
Genuine question
I'm working away from home and to keep costs down I'm staying in my van (a normal white van) and looking for free safe sites / car parks to sleep overnight.
Can anyone recommend any websites or apps that list safe places please ?
Google is mainly bringing up American sites or pub car parks. |

What's covert camping?? Like going camping but not telling anyone ?? |

Wild camping isn't necessarily legal in england, it is in Scotland, unsure of anywhere else. May be why there's little info. However there's some good campervan groups on Facebook where people share locations |

Covert camping .... just another term I heard for sleeping in a van that isn't obviously a camper van
I've also heard it called urban camping and you park in a residential street and sleep but not ideal for the morning wash, that first brew or a quick pee in the bushes !
