Platforms for live music on the telly, yes I know we have you tube etc but used to love The Tube, The Word, TFI Friday top of the pops etc to see bands and artists come through. Yes I know we still have Jules Holland but mainly it is now indie bands he play. Fed up with the drivel that is x factor its about time we got some real talent.

i used to enjoy the old grey whistle test many years ago but not too long back we had 'the white room' which was good.

we do need more programmes for proper music i agree though.
