I always hate easter... They have eggs and don't even tell the children why we have a festival at this time of year... Although to be fair it should be celebrated on the 21st march...
I will get the kids eggs but can't stand the holiday itself..

need to buy my daughter one...and now the likkle squiggles too...will even treat myself to one.Love the atomsphere at easter seems more spring like and its my daughters birthday too so all good memories...happy days...only thing now shes getting older its mum those bailey eggs look nice...  |

I quite enjoy that It's the farce of why they are off.... I have to put up with them asking about Jesus etc . How did he do it etc.. I just tell them that It's just a story invented to take the focus off the spring festival... But as school only teaches one reason for celebrations at this time of year its hard work.
I'm the same about Christmas... I teach the kids about yule too.
