For the purpose of meeting people from fab, I'm shallow and proud. I have to fancy the people I have sex with. I'm not here to meet a life partner.
I'm not looking for sexual encounters away from here so can't say if I'd select differently. |

I'd have been shallow in my 20's as I wanted hot girls with smoking bodies(not that I got too many like), as I've gotten older though I've realized that it's the mind that I'm most attracted to  |

I'm attracted to all body types so I'm not shallow in that respect. And I'm only attracted to the faces I'm attracted to, which can't be helped, so I don't think I'm shallow there either. Having said that lots of little things can instantly put me off someone. Is that shallow? I don't know. |

We are only looking for people to have sex with on here so in that respect we are probably quite shallow .but saying that if we have a social and we don’t connect in anyway we don’t take it any further .. |

I’m shallow and happy to admit it.
I won’t meet anyone I am not physically attracted to, both on here and dating sites if I still used them.
Personality is important but if I don’t like someone’s looks or body, I won’t be interested.  |

I don't have a particular physical type whether that's here or the real world. There has to something I'm attracted to but that can be any number of random things.

Can you define "shallow" in this context?
I ask because a lot of people think if you only like (conventionally) attractive people who have baywatch type bodies, then you ARE shallow
However if you ONLY like larger body type people and won't meet with other body types, then you are NOT
In reality both types exclude others for not being their preference so both deserve the same label.
Personally for us ,we are looking for people we find hot. A good conversationalist who we don't find attractive will get nowhere with us.

Not sure I can to be honest 
I posed the question (perhaps badly) as a lady had posted on another thread guys met her on here for sex but wouldn't be seen walking in thd street with her.
Seemed as though some folk had a different attitude for nsa and something more meaningful.
I'm shallow or whatever description is appropriate if I don't find the other person attractive its not happening on here or anywhere else.

When looking for a partner or relationship I'm way less shallow. Looks are less important for relationship material. |

I genuinely don't care what my platonic friends look like, I just need to like them.
When it comes to a romantic relationship I care about physical appearance. I don't mean they need to look like a movie star but I need to find them physically attractive and they need to care about their appearance. There does also need to be a deep emotional connection I'm not that shallow.

Anyhoooo back to the thread  I’m not shallow at all and have met all sorts of shape and sized guys, I can’t really make any comparison to dating sites as I have never been on one, so for me if I look at someone and feel like I could snog them for an hour or two that is enough for me to be interested in meeting them  |

If I love someone's pictures on fab it doesn't necessarily mean that i would be crazy for them in real life.
I could also meet someone from fab who's pictures are not doing them justice and think wow! I want you.
I imagine there are quite a few ladies who I would feel differently about if I met them in real life and I guess many ladies would feel attracted to men in real life, who they haven't given a chance online.

This exactly. One person's preference/attraction/likes differs to another's. Meeting real people is key plus just coz you get on doesn't mean chemistry, has to be a spark for us  |

I’ve found that dating apps and fab have made me much more shallow. There are people who I see on here and apps like tinder that I think they aren’t my type. However, realistically if I met them in bar and they were friendly, polite and flirty I’d probably find them attractive. |

Im here for NSA sex and fun. I am attracted to a guys personality rather than looks but I suppose in some respects I am shallow as I won't meet guys who overly obese or very short or very hairy. Face doesn't really come into it but a nice smile and sense of humour goes a long way. Dolly x |
