There is a thread currently running in the Ireland forum asking what crisps make the best sandwich... At present Tayto are the general consensus, and if you have never heard of tayto just imagine an out of date by six months bag of Tesco brand crisps...any assistance in righting this injustice would be much appreciated... I have already made the case for walker's and golden wonder which has fallen on deaf ears!!! |

"Aldi prawn cocktail on malted brown with proper butter "
Although a crusty roll with it hollowed out with crunched up prawn cocktail crisps is also high on my list |

Cheese and Onion - BUT with a twist ....
Crumble a handful of the crisps over a slice of bread - put cut cheese over the top - then grill, letting the cheese melt in - Soft Bread - Bliss !!!
The Crispyness and the Melted Cheese on soft white bread - Bliss !!! |

Fuck yeah, they were amazing!
Any crisp between bread is great. I used the put Cheddars (not the minis) and mayo in a sarnie. |

"I thought you all might like this:
https://www.theguardian.com/food/2019/dec/05/how-to-eat-a-crisp-sandwich
Enjoy!"
Filling and cheap
Has to be prawn cocktail, or cheese and onion or salt & vinegar; or if I can find them paprika. Thick bread, so toastie loaf, no spread, empty half the packet on, fold and squish, lift bread and repeat... now you can eat |

I'm not a fan of crisps per se, but I'll go all out for a sandwich made with crispy bacon, buttered wholemeal bread, more than a couple of slices of crispy lettuce, home-made mayonnaise and milled black pepper. |
