Certainly a possibility, so you think it’s getting rid of us so it can heal? |

Rising sea levels ...it’s a myth ...all those ships that sink are left at the bottom while more ships are built to replace them ..Archimedes had a point .... |

So if we didn’t produce so much carbon and lived like we did 400 yrs ago, everything now would still be happening as part of the cycle? |

It is a well proven fact that we contribute massively to the increasing global temperatures.
It isn't just one thing though, there are many contributors. Deforestation is certainly a big factor, as are the greenhouse gases we produce. Increased population also means more concrete and less open spaces, and these towns and cities radiate heat at night when a forest or plain would be cool.
Then there's farting cattle to consider too, adding to the methane in the air.
The best we can hope for at the moment, is that we can try to stop it getting worse, but only if the world agrees on a plan.

Well if people weren't panicking about the environment, governments would not be able to convince them that increasing taxes on your every day items would be a good idea.
Anything that’s considered bad for the environment = taxed heavy & accepted by brainwashed people who behave like sheep!

The only plan is to reduce the population of the developing world so they don't need so much energy and transportation. Strangely, they're not that keen to play ball... |

All the carbon that man is releasing by burning fossil fuels was once in the atmosphere . It was captured by plants and trees as carbon dioxide the oxygen was released and the carbon captured in the plant these eventually decayed and became oil, coal and finally diamonds. At some point a balance will be reached this is no biggie for the planet although it will probalby affect a lot of its inhabitants.

Think you’ll find the rate of deforestation for palm oil is a lot more alarming and harmful than what’s been cleared for cows

Little known:
We are having more extreme weather and global warming, not because of the pollution etc but because we are pumping LESS climate changing pollution into the atmosphere.
Basically less carbon particles means clouds are formed less easily and relies on the natural process to be created. This means that as we clean up the atmosphere more heat will be trapped on earth heating things up.
(Clouds bounce the IR Ray's back into space)
So: what is a reality is that for the last 140 years we have been cooling down the earth, now we are all environmentally conscious we are heating it up by cleaning it up |

The evidence shows that the global heating since the industrial revolution is largely caused by human activity. Any natural variation or patterns are insignificant over this period. We have done and are still causing major levels of increased climate temperatures. These increases will continue to create a planet that is increasingly hostile and dangerous to human and other life. Humans also appear to be increasing the potential for other species and ourselves to die by other activities, including pollution, habitat destruction and resources depletion.
The planet has many natural feedback loops, that act in ways that balance and restrain changes, potentially only within certain limits and these have partly developed outside of any human caused effects. We're pushing the earths natural systems into unnatural, uncharted realms. That's risky of course, as predicting the outcome is harder than if there's a track record of it having already having done so before. Systems typically have limits but those breaking points may be very difficult or impossible to predict.
The earth isn't wanting to exterminate humans but we seem fairly able to want to do that for ourselves. And the earth may be very obliging if we continue to stress it.
The jury has already decided on the causes of this current global climate heating increase - around 99% of experts around the world agree that the evidence shows that it's us humans. |

Certainly a possibility, so you think it’s getting rid of us so it can heal? It will heal by it self but the human could help it by changing their ways.
So if we didn’t produce so much carbon and lived like we did 400 yrs ago, everything now would still be happening as part of the cycle? " Yes. I reckon we would of made less of an impact on the planet if we lived like that as we wouldnt pollute it as much. |

All the evidence of what man is doing and there are still people who cannot see we are fucking up the planet's ability to control a temperature it's used to.
The ignorance is mind blowing.
They are usually on the right side of politics (The gullible) their leaders are out for big business and thier friends so convince the gullible on the street that scientists and all the evidence is wrong.
Worse case scenario and the scientists are wrong, what's the bad that can happen from trying to make the air we breathe as clean as possible |

If you have 2 gallons of water and pour it into a 1 gallon bowl, it will at some point overflow.
If at some point in your pouring I start pouring sand into the bowl as well. I am sure you would agree that it will start to overflow a bit quicker, despite your action and mine being unconnected.
Very over simplified, but it is basically what is happening.
So far I have seen lots of explanations of the problem but no real solutions. |

A reduction of mass agricultural meat and dairy farming would help towards it.
And for those wanting to blame the cows, it’s their burps not farts that produce the gasses, and if farmers adapted their feed this can also be reduced. This is not a problem for smaller/local farms, but is too much trouble/cost for the mass farmed supermarket providers! |

So you’re saying it’s 2 reasons with absolutely no connection and it’s just a coincidence?
Every farm supplies to the supermarkets.. "
And that should change so it benefits the farmers and the eco system more |

Less consumption = less demand at big businesses, allows farmers to produce for themselves, so it’s they who makes the most out of farming not the supermarkets who pay ridiculously small amounts but profit hugely |

Exactly, we all know recycling is a crock of shit that just takes the waste and burns more fossil fuels to dump it on mass in third world countries.
Switching to low energy bulbs because electricity is bad, but switching to electric cars because electricity is good.
I fear that we are being spoon fed bullshit because nobody has any real ideas of how to solve it but want us all chasing our tails and paying our taxes while it goes on uninterrupted by any real solutions. |

I fear big business still believes the money is to be made in fossil fuel. Electric cars are only beneficial if the energy they use is renewable, otherwise, same old issue. Me thinks the big businesses are doing the spooning, but you’re right, it’s all confusing and recycling is nigh on pointless |

Off the top of my head?
All personal vehicles be 1.1l or under...
Ban all refrigerators in shops with no doors...
Cull people every 3yrs at 80yrs of age and people over 25 that is a strain on society and offer the world nothing...
More funding towards passive/green buildings...
Food waste needs to be drastically cut(not sure how yet)...
Ban single use food wrapping and containers..
All of these can pretty much be done immediately

World War 3 is a possible culling method, but if we are to do it seriously I propose a limit of one child per couple for 50 years or so, probably going to be more acceptable than rounding up and killing at random. |

In short, the catastrophic heating is primarily caused by human activities. We've caused increased gases of several types, including CO2 and methane, that increase heat levels. Were obviously affecting earth negatively in other ways too. Earth would currently be better off without us. The cause is clear - some potential solutions are too, including ending energy use sourced from oil, replaced by solar, wind power etc. Huge tree planting schemes. Changing diets, by switching from animal products whose production increases climate heating, to increased plant sourced foods. Stopping the destruction of rainforests and other ancient natural carbon stores and systems that help to store more carbon, via photosynthesis. |

What is really sad is we knew all this decades ago but very very few people have done anything about it ... instead of people quoting other people's often contradictory research would be better if we discussed what we could do to help! Trouble is though, people online tend to not be truthful regarding their carbon footprint even to themselves |

People cause climate change, when are we, the people, going to realise that we can only truly control the damage we’re doing to our wonderful planet by controlling our populations be it voluntary or sadly perhaps enforcing population control. Each birth adds to earths burden to provide and increases the risk of an early death of out mother |

"It is a well proven fact that we contribute massively to the increasing global temperatures.
Cal "
There were far more wild "farting cattle" (it actually comes from the cattle`s stomach through the mouth) roaming the plains of America hundreds of years ago than there is farmed now, so don`t blame the cattle! The "cattle are bad" theory is banded about by animal rights activists who do not take into consider the carbon capture processes that grazing cattle facilitate and also the bio-diversity that comes from the cattle pooh fertilising the ground. |

It appears to have worked well economically, though they still need another 30 to 40 years for the older generation to completely die off to show actual results.
I am surprised that nobody has questioned my comment about closing the internet. Which I actually thought would be more controversial than population control. My logic there is the vast amount of energy used by the internet coupled with the aspirational consumerism that it fuels to fund it is a part of the problem. |

"Whilst yes the planet do cause abit but the majority it is us humans that contribute most to it. I saw a good quote that I agree on and that is that we are not killing the planet but ourself, the planet will return to normal after a few cyckles what your view?
Certainly a possibility, so you think it’s getting rid of us so it can heal? It will heal by it self but the human could help it by changing their ways.
So if we didn’t produce so much carbon and lived like we did 400 yrs ago, everything now would still be happening as part of the cycle? Yes. I reckon we would of made less of an impact on the planet if we lived like that as we wouldnt pollute it as much.
So which is it, a cycle or us.. and not the easy common answer and say both.. It is a mix of it, hundreds of years ago it was more the cycle but nowadays as we human have advanced it is us that is causing most of it such as deforestation.
So both? Even tho they are two completely different things?
Both is the answer that’s given by people that honestly doesn’t believe the cycle theory but are still trying to convince themselves.. Yes both but you are wrong as I said that it started with the cyckle and nowadays is the human fault, others cant accept it cos they believe the globalists.
Both makes no sense, as they are both very different and have no connection.. so which is it? It does make sense and nowadays it is the human fault for it.
So you’re saying it’s 2 reasons with absolutely no connection and it’s just a coincidence? " I have explained it that it is us that are causing the majority of it, we have to agree to disagree. |

Change how?
Less consumption = less demand at big businesses, allows farmers to produce for themselves, so it’s they who makes the most out of farming not the supermarkets who pay ridiculously small amounts but profit hugely

Yes, he has been caught lying several times. As for the others I dunno, I just know David lies all the time. On netflix he lied about walrus, I think every recent show of his has had one big lie. |

I blame the west for this rediculous corporate driven consumerism culture, to the gullable in our society, along with the far East and sub continent too many people on the planet !
It may take over 100+ years but eventually its heading to self destruction |

"Evolution..... dinosaurs never drove 4x4,s......."
The boffins say an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs by causing an ice age. Personally I think it was the festering stench from mountains of dinosaur shit. |
