Back in the gym for the first time after being away for a rather extended summer holiday and it kills!
Been doing a bunch of body weight exercises whilst away but getting back on the weights is a different set of muscles. Do you go full bore or ease your way back in? |

I'd say make sure you warm up properly, have a run first or something, then try! I usually start with 2 kg below my normal weights, and if they feel light I go back to normal. Otherwise I do the lighter ones this time around, then step up next gym visit instead.
Just don't hurt yourself! And there's no shame in taking it easy |
