For a long time Iv been so tempted to get a “VCH” piercing but keep putting it off.
What genital piercings have you?
How painful was it?
Did it take a long time to heal? I ride horses so weary that I may not be able to do that for a while.
Did it intensify your orgasms? |

I can tell you what I know through other people.
As far as I am aware, it isn't as painful as people expect, because it goes through the hood, which is quite thin and isn't where the majority of nerves are in that area.
You'll need to mind what positions you do during healing, because of rubbing and chance of getting the ring caught in something.
It will heighten the general sensitivity of the clit, and I think it might make orgasms more intense, but being male genitaled, this is a bit hard for me to talk about with first person knowledge
It will move about and rub on tight clothing, even underwear. So be prepared to either get aroused at inconvenient moments, or find workarounds for when you need it not to be an issue
I've heard stories of people walking up stairs, or walking fast somewhere, with tight clothes on, and having a small orgasm from it, so there is that too |

I got a VCH piercing and she used numbing cream on me. Hurt for a split second then no pain at all after. It has definitely enhanced sensations for me. I love it, wish I had got it done years ago x |

I can just imagine riding the horses and it hitting off the front of the saddle. I think it’s the healing that puts me off cause the horses couldn’t have that much time off. |

I had mine done years ago although I've taken it out since.
It only hurt for a second and I think it pretty much healed right away, I don't remember any issues like with other piercings.
Get them to use the numbing cream, it's quite a surprise when it wears off and you feel the new piercing! |

How long did it take to heal?"
Six weeks initial, up to a year fully. Most more traditional (including genital) piercings take the same amount of time to heal |

I had mine done, I wouldn’t bother with numbing cream.
I ride a bike and there was no problem getting back on the saddle days after. Rather pleasant in fact as it was still swollen and so the constant friction was kinda nice
It’s the piercing that’s given me no bother whatsoever. |

"How about piercing for men ??
"
About the same, healing wise. No unprotected sex at all for at least six months though, and shouldn't really have any sex at all for a few weeks. In fact shouldn't masturbate for at least a week after piercing. Needs cleaning a couple of times a day. |

I can't find anything in the medical literature specifically on genital piercing and horse riding, but I did find this gem:
Clitoral avulsion successfully repaired with 2-octylcyanoacrylate
Abstract
INTRODUCTION:
Clitoral piercing is becoming more popular in the general populace, playing an aesthetic as well as likely sexual role. However, potential for injury also impacts future clitoral sexual function, thus highlighting the importance of proper repair.
AIM:
To report a 29-year-old woman presented to the emergency department after a clitoral piercing injury. Examination revealed avulsion of most of the clitoral body. After the patient refused expectant and surgical management, reapproximation was performed using 2-octylcyanoacrylate.
METHODS:
2-Octylcyanoacrylate, commonly known as Dermabond(®) (Ethicon Inc., Somerville, NJ, USA), was used to reapproximate the clitoral laceration for this patient. It is a cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive, forming a strong bond between wound edges to allow for normal healing to occur below. Benefits of use are decreased time of repair, water-resistant flexible coating, and no need for suture removal.
RESULTS:
The laceration was successfully reapproximated with 2-octylcyanoacrylate. The tissue held together satisfactorily and the patient was discharged to home. She was seen as an outpatient 3 days later, with a moderately tender and swollen clitoris, but with an intact repair and improved pain. A visit 8 weeks later showed a well-healed clitoris, and the patient reported resolution of pain and return of sexual function, with successful orgasms.
CONCLUSIONS:
The delicacy of clitoral anatomy and the potential impact of its injury on future sexual function make it an intimidating area of repair for the general physician. The method of repair must be tailored to the injury, patient, and physician; however, 2-octylcyanoacrylate is a viable alternative to traditional surgical or expectant management, offering strength and flexibility while avoiding further trauma with suture.

How long did it take to heal?"
It’s recommended that you abstain from sex in that area for 2 weeks. It takes about 6-8 weeks to heal, since the area is very vascular.
Other types of genital piercings, such as HCH, Christina and triangle, can take months to heal. |

I had a VCH done a few years ago, I didn't have it number but it wasn't all that painful.
I took it out after about 18 months though, it wasn't doing anything for me sensation wise and I just didn't like it all that much. |

Ppa has a beautiful VCH (as well as a beautiful clit, but thats a story for another day!). She'll tell you that the pain was momentary - in fact she said it didn't hurt until a couple of seconds after it was done.
Initial healing was short - less than a week and we were back to it in about 5 days, so turned on by the additional sensations was she |
