Well,
Hubby took son to his oncology the other day.
All the kids good, not screaming or shouting.
Just playing games or reading, chatting.
Which supprised hubby.
In the afternoon Hubby had to go oncology for him.
He took or son and all our son could say to me was that why do old people moan so much.!
My son said that mostly they smelt of smoke and just blamed the nurses for their appointment was late.
Made me laugh.
Anyone else come across this.

I have heard that kids cope better than adults with being very ill. When i was seven i had meningitus mumps. The worst thing for me was being in hospital, and not knowing when i would see my parents again. |

OH.
Not very nice giving you a salad with dressing.
I know adults seem such babies when comes to having treatment.
Sounds like kids could teach adults one or two things.
I can't think that I could not see wht son when I wanted too.
Must have been very scary not seen your parents when you where ill.
Ian, saying that Ian can be a pain in the arse.
He for ever coming out of hospital with drains attached etc.
But he just hates been in any hospital and seems to get better when he's at home.
Ian last came home with a drain and he had to clean the line out twice daily, that was horrible to see, him do it.
I wish had stayed in until the drain came out.
But oh no he had to come home.

"I had my tonsiles out as an adult and the silly nurse gave me a salad with viniger dressing on it I did YELL "
Had mine out when early 20s and they gave me toast, roast beef sandwitches and crisps! So much for Jelly and ice cream! They said it was to toughen up the scar tissue and boy did it hurt.
Wouldn't wish that op on anyone! |

SOme the food they give people after ops.
id not very good.
Ian was last in hospital, they had lamb on the menu.
Not very good to give people that had most of there bowel removed. As the fat on the lamb causes bleeding.
Hubby went over to the lady serving and said that she should tell people that lamb not good, after that kind of operation.
Four guys eat the lamb three had to go back to have the joins re-done.
One was fairly lucky he just had to not eat for a few days.
I thought hospitals would know what foods to service and what not too service.
