Just cleaned out my tin coupboard and found a tin of sliced peaches best before 10/2009 SHOCK!!!

lol, i was cleaning out the bread bin ( i dont keep bread in there) and found some quite old packets of savoury rice, not sure of the date but they had been there a while as i dont go in the bread bin

i have a pet beer, he's called alha and he will be 6 years old in june. I'm keeping him as he's growing life forms and i want to see what happens

I have a cucumber slicer I still use that was my grandmothers. She got it when she married on the mid 1930's. Also have a vintage fur coat from the mid 1950's

I have a few items including china stuff from great grandparents and they have some sentimental value to me. Food wise I clear out occasionally and probably quite up to date now. Mind, I have a cupbard full of booze (over 40% stuff) that does not seem to go off and as I dont drink spirits it will probably be there for another 10 years...

Does booze ever go off - anybody know??

mainly whiskey, Vodka and spirits made from fruit - they smell fine just wondered if they ever do go off. Some of the bottles have not even been opened yet. Port I do like so there is not any left lol

Got dried and canned foods as you do, can't even be bothering to look at the dates...they're mostly from last year and the year before last, i know that much.

well K's favourite put down line to the young boys who can't read her profile is 'I have shoes older than you' so I guess some of her shoes are the oldest things in our cupboards although I still have a pair or rugby socks I used to wear at school in my sock draw
