Can anyone explain the pros and cons of whatsapp to a dinosaur
In the past I've had a couple of people on fab(someone you suspect might not be genuine) very early on in a conversation asking you if you have whatsapp
Is that a warning sign and for what reason does it benefit them if that makes sense ?
I guess gut feelings are best but just wondered if it's for innocent reasons ? |

On WhatsApp you can choose either usual type phone calls or video calls. . . Also text messaging.
Encrypted so safe from hackers etc.
All good if it's for some one you don't mind passing your phone number to

People always seem super worried about giving their number out....I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not giving it out willy nilly, but if i wanna meet someone, it seems logical to let them put my number in their phone before I fuck em
And you can block numbers, just like you'd block someone here |

Photos and emojis are free to send. This isn't the case for a text message unless you've got mms included in your phone deal.
If you pay as you go, each multi media msg will cost you more to send.
You do have to give your number out with whatsapp, so if you don't want to do that install kik instead. |

"Go kik. Doesn't involve phone numbers. "
This, what’s app shows your number, Kik just shows your user name.
Whilst I’d initially be cautious, I also appreciate fab messages aren’t as slick as other services.
Just take the usual internet safety precautions, ie don’t start sending loads of personal info pics etc. I actually prefer chatting on Kik as it’s instant (fabs emails often come much later than the message)
But above all use common sense and you’ll be fine.
If you’re worried it’s a guy pretending to be a lady/couple look for tell tales like straight away telling you how horny they are or wanting nude pics straight away etc.
Just my 2p worth.
Happy Swinging.

Just more convenient, with more features, such as text, picture messaging, voice notes, video calling etc. It does however require exchanging numbers, and if your number is linked to your social media such a Facebook and Instagram you can be easily found.
I don’t think I would assume someone was not genuine because they asked for your WhatsApp. I prefer to use it to communicate once I’ve gotten to know someone a little on here, sometimes that can be after a few days or a few hours of messaging. Just depends if there were any other red flags with whoever was asking you. |

"There are no randoms messaging, sending dick pics
People seem to just search random usernames on kik and send ridiculous messages. "
I had this a lot in the past |
