The big one has gone travelling before uni with a friend.
I asked them if they had everything and three times they assured me they did, they're adults and I should stop fussing. I drove them to the station, hugged them and sent them off on their big adventure. Three minutes after driving off the phone rings (through the car, yes I've seen that debate). The friend didn't have their passport!
The friend calls their mother who rushes to the station with the passport but they'd missed the train. She purchases new tickets for later. They all come home.
Three hours later I get message from the train: they've been put in first class, have wine and food and having a ball. Jammy gits (said one of the mothers). 
What reward have you had that you did nothing to earn?

I know. Jammy gits. I paid for the whole trip for the one related to me and gave the other one spending money.

Lucky people usually put some effort in. Getting to know people is a two way process.
No effort on their part this morning. Maybe luck doesn't need effort (or personal effort). |

When I was much much younger Lacey and I attended a good friends wedding and unusually for me I got myself extremely pissed and L put me to bed in our hotel room at around midnight then went back down to the party.
Next thing I know I’m rudely woken by giggling girls undressing each other and then passionately kissing right next to me in the bed.
The hot writhing sexual encounter that followed was and still is one of the best things we’ve ever done and probably wouldn’t of happened if i hadn’t over indulged.
