I bet they are naturally beautiful but its hard to tell

I dont wear lots of makeup, but do always have very highlighted eyes..

I find makeup applied by the trowel a turn of and when you get them in the jacuzzi - it washes off too

I'm the same, I rarely wear make up, I do for a night out, or a meet, but it's always fairly natural looking. Even when i had my face done for my wedding, as soon as the make up artist left I took it all off, made me feel like a clown with it all caked on.

The current trend for women to be orange, then trowel on loads of slap, finished off with some massive Ermintrude eyelashes just makes them look un-nervingly like Drag Queens, I'm afraid. (That's a "NO" if anyone's in any doubt)

I much prefer a woman to look natural, whether she be a pale English rose or an olive-skinned dusky beauty. Of course make-up can accentuate that, nothing wrong with some mascara on any woman.

However, some women unfortunately don't have perfect skins, so do need some help to bring out their best. I do enjoy seeing a full-on made-up face, it can be really attractive, but only if done properly.

As a bloke, of course, I know all there is to know about this, but many women haven't got a clue how to put make-up on, they just bang it on like Lily Savage. Pity the poor man who says "Love, that rainbow eye-shadow is a bit too much..."

When you see professionally applied make-up, it does look fantastic, but I'm afraid my balls are nowhere near big enough to criticise any woman openly at her attempts.

If any TV executives are about, commission a show where I can accost women in the street, tell them they look like nasty old panto dames, (ie. lay on some serious security), then get them made up by a pro. Maybe women at large will pay heed...

(Maybe I'd need some to cover up my black eyes)

never had that problem, i obviously dont put that much on, never left make up on the pillow etc, i only put enough foundation on to even my skin out, just a light covering, then a dusting of poweder to matt my face and then my eyes, i hate blusher with a passion, would never wear it and dont like to see it on women, very few women know how to apply blusher most just walk round with two pink stripes up the side of their face

A little make up looks good but when it's caked on like you see in Towie not good, makes you wonder what they need to hide.

Also it's prity scary when you see the women the morning after without the ton of makeup..

Agreed. i wear make up for me, i openly admit that i am still learning as i only started wearing it a couple of years ago as i explore my girly side.

Doing my make up is part of my pre meet prep. It makes me feel sexy...

i dont know that much about it so i stay fairly light and natural.

i am much more confident with my nails, as a friendly tv showed me how to do them properly. Its the only make up i wear all the time .

I like looking like a drag queen. My absolute favourites are super long eyelashes.

I don't follow what others are wearing or how the majority may wish to put make up on. I'm not keen on subtle, because I'm not really a subtle blend into the background type of person.

That said I don't like the 'Jordan look', I don't like dark fake tan, panda eyes, mascara which smudges on the eyeshadow or dark lip liner with a paler lipstick. I dislike the way those 'only way is essex' women apply make up.

My favourite is indian style make up, complete with diamante bindis and hair jewellery. At the moment I am into 50s style make up complete with drawn on beauty spot.

Lol, you so wouldn't like me

I always wear make up on a meet or at clubs but not into wearing it everyday. I have to laugh when your out shopping and the girls are done up like a dogs dinner, orange skin, false lashes, false nails, false hair, so much make up it could cover six faces and heels so high they can't walk and all just to buy a bottle of milk lol

Yes I think very young girls look awful with foundation on.

I don't wear any make up to work or everyday, so I look very different when I go out. That's what I like about it actually, the transformation.

Luckily the one good thing I've always been blessed with is good skin, I've only ever had the odd spot when I was a teen and I don't think I've had a spot or blackhead for absolute years.

I like the transformation bit too but like to look natural and only go for the full face on a night out in town! Don't see the point for tescos lol

Though when I meet with him I don't do make up either just clean and tidy, it would just end up spread across my mush and him which wouldn't be a plan or worse over the covers of where we were playing! And if we were meeting anyone else I might put a bit on but hardly any!

Extremes make you look pretty terrible but some just don’t get it. Women who can’t be bothered to make an effort well its a turn off . Natural beauty to some can’t be bothered to others.

Ones who slap it on with a trowel and believe me some do well that’s just as bad and often looks like polifilla and emulation. Same with the orange ones who think one spray tan is good 3 spray tans better! They don’t call it a happy medium for nothing.

disagree.

always said, if you arent enough without, you will never be enough with.

if someone can only fancy you because of a bit of blusher and lipstick then they arent really worth spending time with.

same goes for blokes. Em preferes the rough and ready look (luckily for me lol) rather than the metrosexual creams/manmakeup thing a lot of men go for now. hell, her sone takes longer to get ready to go to school than she does to go out of a night lol

also, wearing lots of makeup ruins your skin.

thick foundation and the like stops the sun penetrating your skin so you stop getting vitamin B (i think it is) but it clogs up your pores and so on.

als, women look very pasty at the end of a night in a warm place when wearing lots of makeup. hmmmmmmm.

you really have to do what makes you feel good and nice, each to their own lol

its more about how it makes me feel to be honest

As miss puddlefuck said, i wear it for me, i just feel prettier with it on, regardless of wether i look it or not lol and it gives me a little more confidance, i feel sexier knowing ive made an effort for a meet and knowing i look totally different to how i usually look just makes me feel good

I like to see natural beauty without make up.

If make u is used then all it should do is highlight the best features.

Then again the burlesque look appeals to me and love the look of it on the right lady.

Saying all that above, I have seen ladies that would look better with the Avon bag over their head instead of the make up they've bought

My line of work does not allow make up to be worn.

For the full on war paint job, it would take at least an hour to do properly, minus the nails.

Good job I seldom need to doll up nowadays.

Absolutely hate that foundation stuff. yuk. The most I would wear is a light powdering of mineral powder but only for special occasions.

Do like a bit of natural shadow on the eyes, a little blusher and a coat of lip gloss though, to vamp things up.

An interesting comment and i would presume by the amount of makeup sold in the UK and the size of the booths in boots it is pretty popular amongst women.

From a mans point of view or mine i would say if applied correctly and without going overboard it enhanced a woman's features. Eyeliner accentuates the eyes, eye shadow if subtle beings out the colour of a woman's eyes, blusher accentuates the cheek bones and lipstick is bliss when left round my cock. If done correctly it does look nice if done badly its...... well its not is it. I would say though i don't know a man who hasn't smiled when left with the ring of confidence aka lipstick round his cock.

It's interesting to read the different views from the men and I'm quite suprised by how many prefer the natural look.

"

natural beauty for me all the way.

not all of us have that tho, some of us need help lol

disagree.

always said, if you arent enough without, you will never be enough with.

if someone can only fancy you because of a bit of blusher and lipstick then they arent really worth spending time with.

same goes for blokes. Em preferes the rough and ready look (luckily for me lol) rather than the metrosexual creams/manmakeup thing a lot of men go for now. hell, her sone takes longer to get ready to go to school than she does to go out of a night lol

its more about how it makes me feel to be honest

As miss puddlefuck said, i wear it for me, i just feel prettier with it on, regardless of wether i look it or not lol and it gives me a little more confidance, i feel sexier knowing ive made an effort for a meet and knowing i look totally different to how i usually look just makes me feel good

I think if a little make up makes you feel better its not doing any harm

I dont wear it to pull more men i wear it so i feel more confident when i do meet men "

Agrees with the above.

Natural beauty for me Yes a little make up to enhance your natural beauty is fine. But to cake that shit all over your face is just plain wrong. Not to mention also disgusting.

Yes a little fake tan/spray tan applied correctly can enhance your beauty. But to apply it incorrectly and to put do much on that you look like an orange is just not appealing.

This however is just my opinion

"also, wearing lots of makeup ruins your skin."

Hmmm, I have some "special" lotion that's apparently good for a woman's skin...

"It's interesting to read the different views from the men and I'm quite suprised by how many prefer the natural look."

Which leads to the question, are those women-at-large that trowel on the render under the impression that men think they look great when they look like a Drag Geisha? Yep, we're looking at them, but there's obviously many many of us who are thinking "Jesus, look at the state of THAT" and laughing.

Yeah yeah, and I know that wimmin are going to say "I wear make-up for me, not for men", and I appreciate that to a certain degree, but at its very base level, they ARE doing it to look or feel more attractive (otherwise, why bother going through all that at all?)

I think if more women knew EXACTLY what men thought about their make-up, there would be a sea-change in the way they applied the stuff. Of course, that's not likely to happen, the companies that are selling this shite by the bucket-load are more than happy for women to walk around looking like Georgian whores, it's great business.

Standard disclaimer applies - some women look great with tons of it on, not all of them look like "painted ladies", it's a personal thing for some women, blah blah blah

"Or the more natural, less make up type?"

Can't stomach the smell of make up and too much of it is more of a repellant to me.

Nr Chester

Dark eye make up and a tad to create that dirty sultry look works wonders.

Love the gothic, emo, rock look too.

But less also works, playing to ones strengths, personality or role play are all admired and appreciated xx

Funjuice is right.

You can't beat some make-up.

I think lipstick, eyes and nails (fingers AND toes) really add to sex appeal.
