"Bury and Bolton really struggling so should the cash rich premier league help bail them out bearing in mind the amount of money that agents take out of the premier league For me I think they should and stop little clubs going out of business yes I know some are badly run and why should other clubs bail them out but the money in the premier should filter down maybe the fa need to do more when owners like the venkys took over at Blackburn and ruined them " Premiership money should filter down, Maybe into the youth system of lower league clubs but not to bail out clubs who are badly run

"I'm not sure big clubs need to be spending their money to save strugglers. It's a business after all, and all businesses succeed or fail. Do big and successful corporations filter their money down to what are essentially business rivals? Is it different just because it's football? And it's expected of the big earners to prop up the strugglers. " we bail banks out and other failing businesses so why not football clubs they all have people that depend on the survival of the club

" Only problem with this is the Prem would turn into the German and Spanish leagues were you get one or two large teams buy up every promising looking player just to let them rot, which in turn means they are 100% likely to win the league. It just makes the sport boring to watch as you know the outcome before it begins...
"I can't wait for prem club to go skint ...I support lower league football ...Dover afc...at least they appreciate supporters" Some clubs are better then others at appreciating fans and what they bring to the club but football clubs are there to make money just like any business
"I can't wait for prem club to go skint ...I support lower league football ...Dover afc...at least they appreciate supporters" look at Man Utd the debt that clubs in due to unscrupulous owners couple more seasons struggling and not getting in the champions league yes they may be the so called biggest club in England I think Liverpool may have a say on that would the glazers pull the plug ?

Take Blackburn and Leicester out of he equation and the premier league has been won by only 4 teams. Bit boring then.

Man utd have a global fan base which attracts huge sponsors that's where most of the money comes from, Even if the Glazers pull out due to losing money someone else will buy them

" In a 133 years there has only been 24 different winners of the top league out of hundreds of teams and only 3 of them have won it more then 10 times

"Are the fa still selling Wembley to the yanks??? Maybe the cash they get will go towards struggling clubs probably not " Why help struggling clubs, when you can reward yourself with a huge bonus? FA....Fucking Arseholes, more like. Maybe, football should, globally, do what is done in American Football? Enforce a salary cap for players, and govern more closely, the way teams/franchises, conduct business? After all, the Glazers only bought Man Utd, to use the funds to pay off debts for the Philadelphia Eagles, which they own(ed).
"Are the fa still selling Wembley to the yanks??? Maybe the cash they get will go towards struggling clubs probably not " I'd rather the money helped out struggling former players and amature teams then struggling clubs

I think the Manure (yes, intended) fans went to FC Manchester, and Salford City. I am pretty sure, that a few former Utd players are directors at one, or even both, clubs. Some of the problem is ticket prices. Yes, it costs millions per year to run some clubs, and, someone has to pay. I also think that, to some extent, fans have not helped themselves, by continuing the support of clubs, who raise ticket prices, have multiple strips, thus meaning people buy all thirty three different versions, and paying the wages players/agents command. Hey ho...such is life.

"I can't wait for prem club to go skint ...I support lower league football ...Dover afc...at least they appreciate supporters" Apparently Chelsea were hours away from calling the receivers before Abramovitch turned up. He changed the whole way transfers were conducted. Most were done on a sliding scale of payments, so a multi million pound transfer was spread out over several seasons. He simply wrote a cheque for the full amount. A hell of a lot of that money filtered down to lower clubs, it saved quite a few from going out of business. There's a couple of pages in a Harry Harris book about Abramovitch that's follows the money trail and how it benefited other clubs in the lower leagues.
