Hi all.
I am wondering, are there any other good websites, other than purpleport, that you can start a modelling portfolio on? I'm a guy looking to get into modelling. Dont care what genre, im very open minded, but i wish to avoid purpleport due to an ex who uses it.
I have never done any modelling, looking to start. Might even earn a few quid if ik lucky lol. Can anyone suggest anything? Or are there any photographers on here who live around swindon who could add me to their portfolios and get me started on one of my own? |

Hi OP
It's a tricky nut to crack for a guy, as it depends on what sort of modelling you are looking to do. An agency would suit you best to begin with but be mindful that there are lots of pitfalls in that. The Stage newspaper (for actors and the like) has a number of options if you read the classifieds.
If its porn you want to do, you will get ripped off before you are successful (not THAT kind of ripped off!).
As for a portfolio, generally agencies and the like are looking for potential rather than finished products (they will mould you to a market), so just get some clear pictures done, no filters, no gubbins just you and send them off
