Too many to mention but do prefer old clasics from the 30s to the 80s. Watched Hereditary last week. First horror movie in years that shit me up a bit. Really good movie too.

I think watching a horror with someone jumpy is far more fun, adds to the effect as jumping is infectious

Was a bit gory but on the whole I never liked that one. Always think of bit where the guy is untied from a chair but his Achilles tendon had been severed. And the Asian girl with the eye ball

My favourite isn’t too well known. It’s called behind the mask, the rise of Leslie vernon.

It’s a different spin on the slasher genre. It’s like a mockumentery and follows Leslie Vernon as he plans and executes his killing spree. Well worth a watch.

I have mild hyperreflexia so it's terrible apparently I scare the shit out of everyone! Hahahahahahahaha but on the "scarey" bits I'm saying "but there isn't that much blood in the body pffft" and that's annoying hahaha

This flick is awesome. I nearly died from laughter. I watched back to back with Pontypool which is based on a radio play, highly recommend.

I love the original Day of the Dead, I watched it when i was 6 and it really scared the crap out of me.

I love everything zombie now to the point of having regular nightmares which I consider a free interactive movie!!

Blair Witch is a favourite especially the first time I watched it and we watched Hereditary a couple of weeks ago and it was really good but it needed more about the rabbit didn’t it Holly

That was actually the first ouija board movie ever I think. Which made it more scary to people who seen it the first time, now the ouija board thing is a bit over done.

yeah but its even better when at the cinema and you make your ex mrs jump and scream.

it makes the other ladies jump and scream, though whilst im getting a beating for it all im doing is laughing my head off.

daughter dosnt trust us either as ive got her screaming as well.

some horrors have made me squirm but its been a long time since, I jumped out of my skin while watching a horror an odd one has caught me out.

I hate horrors but I've still watched a few Sinister is probably my favourite, no real jump scares just a real creepy vibe that slowly sank in to you the more the story unfurled

Ah, horror movies...lovely and misunderstood genre. I am very picky about horror movies, as I don't get scared or creeped out by the supernatural (demons, ghosts and so on). Sci-fi horror does it for me, and my favorites are

Alien

The Thing

Invasion of the body snatchers

From Beyond

I'm not sure Tucker and Dale counts as a horror film. That's a dark comedy surely?

Yes! Same. I like clever satire where you can spot easter eggs and it fuses various mythos.
